Sanlitun / Dongzhimen / Gongti

Centrally located, the Sanlitun, Dongzhimen, and Gongti areas are ideal locations accommodating all budgets. As well, these areas are famous for the variety of quality restaurants, vibrant nightlife, and shops. The new subway lines have made transportation to these areas convenient.

Accommodation
The Sanlitun area accommodates any type of budget. Though not many new complexes have been built in the past few years, apartments are never sparse. Seasons Park, Embassy House, and Sun City are just a few communities to choose from in this area with prices ranging from CNY 4,000 to CNY 90,000.

Shopping & Amenities
From high end international brands found in the Village to the ever-famous Yashow clothing market, all types of shopping can be found in this area. The completion of the largest retail complex in Sanlitun, developed by SOHO Ltd., is expected for the end of 2009.

Entertainment & Leisure
Beijing's most famous bars, restaurants, and nightclubs are located in the Sanlitun, Dongzhimen, and Gongti areas (e.g. The Face, Alameda, and China Doll). From student hangouts to high class martini bars, most visitors to Beijing rarely escape at least one visit to these popular hot spots.

Education
The French School, Dulwich College Beijing, The British School of Beijing, The Pakistan College of Beijing, The International Montessori School of Beijing, Ivy Academy, and Beijing No 55 Middle School are located within the Dongzhimen, Sanlitun and Gongti area.

Transport
The rest of Beijing is easily accessible from Dongzhimen and Sanlitun. Though traffic is very heavy from 6pm to 8pm, the new subway Line 10 makes traveling to Sanlitun very easy and convenient.
