Beijing’s best expatriates resources? Online? Printed magazines? Wechat and other social media accounts? … You will find in this article a list of the resources that will make your life easier in Beijing: dining locations, shops, events, concerts,… And allow me to mention this blog, Living in Beijing, where we try to provide meaningful information for expatriates and their families living in Beijing! 

 

Magazines

If they are still all printed in a monthly edition, all those magazines dedicated to the life in Beijing are sharing additional information on their websites, social network pages (FaceBook (like their page to see their update) and Wechat (subscribe to their official account) mostly) and Apps.
You can get the hard copy from restaurants, Jenny and April Gourmet supermarkets, Beijing International Hospitals, Beijing International Schools, foreign restaurants, residential compounds management offices…  Most of them are free magazines.

Networking groups (other than National and regional foreigner associations in Beijing)

Besides those international networking groups active in Beijing, you can check other foreign associations or cultural groups active in Beijing, such as Pekin Accueil for French people and Zhongbreizh for Breton people (French people from Brittany), Irish Network for Irish people, Anza for Australia and New Zealand people, American Community Club (ACC) for US citizens… You can also meet people sharing the same interest for sport, outdoor activities through sportive clubs… We have already published dedicated posts regarding most of those associations / groups in this blog… and we will keep updating their information in the future!
