The taxi fares are going to rise within a few days, after a lot of rumors and some debates,
– the minimum fare for any distance under 3 kilometers will be 13 RMB
– the 3 RMB addistional Charge for the Fuel Tax is reduced from 3 RMB to 1 RMB, but applies to any fare, which means the minimum fare is now 14 RMB,
– the price per kilometer will rise to from 2 per kilometer to 2.3 per kilometer, but the sum will be rounded up so that you won’t have to give change in maos.
