DRC Sanlitun is situated east of the Workers’ Stadium, south of the embassy area, north of the Pacific Place shopping center and just right inside the area of Sanlitun and 5 minutes away from Sanlitun Village. The entire area is famous for having a wide Bar Street with bars, restaurants and Nightclubs including the luxury shopping centre Sanlitun Village and the Yashow Clothing Market which is located only 10 minutes away by walk. Tuanjiehu Subway with line 5 is only 7 minutes away.

Indoor and Outdoor:
DRC compounds are low and offer small gardens and a children’s playground. The design is not brand new but the indoor style is fine and also spacious. It will take you 15 minutes by drive to CBD and 15 minutes to Lufthansa area. Price is convenient and the entire community is very expat friendly offering an exciting Beijing living.

DRC Sanlitun does not have any special clubhouse or wide outdoor space but it has a children’s playground in each of the yards and a charming and calm garden with parking space. The popular clubhouse “Nirvana Club” is located right in front of the compound and offers gym, swimming pool, sauna and more sport facilities for expat and Chinese people.
Pacific Century Centre
Advantages:
These appartments are only 30 minutes by walk from “The Place” and the Silk Market. It only will take you a 15 minutes ride to CBD and another 15 minutes to Lufthansa. Sanlitun is full of luxury brands and a few of the best restaurants having mostly all facilities. If you like to go out, you will not need more than 5 minutes by walk to the nightclubs or to the Sanlitun Bar Street. There are a few banks around and the Police Station is also 5 minutes away. It is also the neighbourhood of mostly all Embassies and official Culture centres.

Disadvantages:
The Sanlitun area is not very calm during night or day. It is not dangerous but it isn’t either an area to find a close community with children like other villas communities outside Beijing. Chaoyang Park is not far away but it will take you a 15 minutes ride. The Diplomatic compounds are not very new or even have a modern design but they are low and also convenient for families with children who want to live in the centre of Beijing.
