The Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinic (BJU) is a pioneer since 1997 offering International standard healthcare to expat people and Chinese families. Located in Jiangtai Road inside Chaoyang District, the centre certifies specialists from all over the world, Chinese doctors with International experience and professional Chinese nurses. If you move to Shanghai, Guanghzou, Tianjin or Wuxi, you will be able to find other United Family Hospitals from the same network. The hospital initially began as the first centre in China with a Birth centre for foreign families and has been since 1998, the birthplace for around 4000 babies. Since 2005 the hospital was certified by Joint Commission International as the only one in Beijing offering a full and world-class service, passing all International quality health standards. Beijing United Family Hospital is also the only centre in Beijing accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

The hospital offers a range of primary and specialized health services:
Primary family healthcare, 24 hours emergency service, eye clinic, dental clinic, dermatology centre, ENT clinic, integrative medicine, intensive care unit, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology healthcare, paediatrics, plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic services, a psychological health centre, radiology and a surgery clinic. It is also important to mention that the hospital also offers a pharmacy with International medicines, a blood bank and a laboratory.
Patient Services at BJU
BJU offers to all patients, specialized services and a 24h emergency healthcare in a friendly and comprehensive environment. Accommodation for patients, emotional support and language translations are also provided in order to offer the best possible health services. All doctors have International experience especially in Hospitals in the U.S. independently if they have been studying in Chinese Univeristies or abroad. Nurses are Chinese but they should have at least two years experience and are also trained by the United Family Hospital to be able to work in an International environment with patients from all around the globe. United Family also provides Home Health Service in order to provide the clients and their families with the highest level medical care from the comfort of their homes.
United Family is a private hospital and health clinic. Therefore all services can be provided by being patience and paying for them. BJU also has arrangements with several International insurance companies, so you can ask for the services if you have privet insurance in China.

The United Family New Hope Oncology Center is located in Lido and is the only western-style Oncology clinic in the city of Beijing. It offers huge facilities in specialized in radiotherapy, psychology, chemotherapy and internal medicine. The United Family Clinic in Shunyi is a huge part of the United Family network, providing family medicine, paediatrics, psychological service, physical therapy, gynecology, radiology, travel and immunization medicine service, another pharmacy and laboratories too.
The other Dental Clinic is located in the Shunyi area outside the city centre and offers high quality dental treatments for the entire family. Preventive dental care, cosmetic treatments and restorative dental medicine are the main services. The diplomatic area in Beijing is served by the United Family Liangma Clinic, providing family medicine for people living there. The CBD area has the United Family Jiangguomen Health and Wellness Centre which offers health check-ups, integrative medicine and psychological counselling.
