Settling in & after care services
It is now for sure that you have secured a home for yourself or your family. It is now an important time for Scout Real Estate sales & after sales team to enter in action with quick and professional responses to your needs. A list of tasks will have to be accomplished accordingly to each tenant:
Pre-settling in Preparation:
- Supervise property cleaning prior to client´s move-in date
- Supervise any small or major renovation agreed on the contract
- Check any missing or to be move out furniture
- Perform a final inspection of furniture and facilities
- Installation of Internet, Wifi and Cable TV
- Run some tests prior to the moving date of the tenant (stove, dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, internet, phone, DVD, TV, microwave, showers, air conditioning, etc)
Settling In (Check in):
- Inventory of the apartment, villa or courtyard: The three parties (landlord, tenant and agent) will fill in a Handover List which register all the supply available (Keys, furniture, smart cards, appliances, special equipments, etc)
- Any existing damages in the accommodation will be noted on the inventory in order to avoid any conflict during the check out (Pictures to prove)
- Scout Real Estate after sales team will also spend some time to show you how water, electricity, gas and heating works as well as how to pay your bills using cards
- Our team will help you register at the club house or gym club as well as your property management office
After care services:
- Our team will help you register at the police Station within 24 Hours after moving date (Required by law)
- Assist you in visa application and residential permit registration process
- Advise you on banking options and relevant procedures
(bank account opening) - if not provided by the company or for spouse / children, subscription to mobile phone services
- Suggest wife´s networking or counseling groups
- Visit and assist you with application to sports clubs and facilities, including gym memberships, football clubs, softball, tennis, squash, basketball, cricket, golf, etc
- Assist you to find a good housekeeper, driver, and Chinese tutor
- Help you in obtaining a valid driver’s license in China
- Follow you up with a courtesy call within a week after move in to inquire if Scout Real Estate can be of further assistance
- Host workshops on various topics covering life as an expat family, raising expat kids, getting on track in China, being a mother in Beijing, etc
- We will be available during business hours to provide you with assistance about tenancy-related issues that may arise. A 24/7 hotline service is available for all emergency requests
