The Scout Real Estate team is made up of experienced agents who have been in the real estate, relocation, and marketing fields for many years in Europe, the United States, and Asia. Coming from different parts of the world and speaking different languages, each employee brings something unique to the team. Scout Real Estate gathers together each talent to form a multi-faceted, diverse team.
Jean-Baptiste has been in Beijing since 2004 after achieving a MBA at Staffordshire University (UK) and Beiwai University (Beijing, China). He previously worked for few major real estate agencies in China since 2005. Jean-Baptiste founded SCOUT REAL ESTATE in 2007 in a goal to offer more transparent services and professional after sales services to foreigners’ individuals or corporations in China.
As a leader of SCOUT REAL ESTATE, one of Jean-Baptiste major goal aside of training his whole team to the western working standards, it is also to teach them values in honesty and respect toward clients.
Jean-Baptiste believes that goal is on its way and that SCOUT REAL ESTATE is certainly making a difference in the relocation industry!
After a Master in Marketing Sales in Nantes School of Management and one year working as a consultant for a relocation company in Paris, Gregory Desbuquois has been working for some of the most successful Real Estate and Relocation companies in Beijing.
On the side, he is the President of the French Soccer Club "French L'Equipe", Chairman of the Amateur Soccer League “International Friendship Football Club” in Beijing, and the drummer of the Beijing Beatles Tribute Band, that regularly gives concerts in China and other countries.
The Real Estate industry is known for being difficult, and yet Gregory Desbuquois manages to makes the relocation process smooth and agreeable both for the client and the landlord. His kindness and his professional manners make him one of the best in the industry.
Eric Hu, as the one of Scout team, now works as Sales Manager. Coming from Shanxi Province of China, Eric came to Beijing right after he graduated from Shanxi Datong University in 2005 and began his professional career in the real estate business.
As one of the most experienced element in SCOUT REAL ESTATE, Eric uses his knowledge to provide training standards of Beijing real estate market to our consultants and his communication skills to negotiate every contract between landlords and customers. Eric is also the expert in office leasing in Beijing among the SCOUT team.
Gaspard was born in Eastern France, close to the German border. He arrived in China in 2008 to study Chinese and spent one year studying in Beijing and travelling around China. Scheduled to continue his studies in France afterwards, he quickly made the choice to come back to Beijing to find career opportunities.
After one year learning real estate business in a CBD Hongkongese real estate agency among Chinese locals, he joined the Scout Real Estate team in November 2011 to focus on the expatriate market and share his experience with new-comers settling in Beijing. He was promoted Sales Manager in July 2014 and now supervises our consultants’ service to expatriates and key corporate accounts.
Born in Harbin and grew up in Beijing, with experience of studying abroad, Linda is in charge of all after sales services for SCOUT REAL ESTATE clients. Her mission is to help and provide solutions according to their needs. China is not an easy place to live and Linda’s aim is to make their stay in Beijing easier.
Friendly and professional person, fluent in English, trusted by clients and colleagues and driven to success, Linda is a team player and also knows how to work independently in setting up and completing tasks.

Alexis started his professional career in Beijing and joined Scout Real Estate in July 2012 after achieving his Bachelor Degree in International Trade and Foreign Languages in Rennes (Brittany, France).
In Beijing for 4 years altogether, Alexis enjoys meeting people from all around the world and his knowledge of Beijing is a great asset to help them searching for a new place to live. He understands expatriates’ needs and provides them the best quality service. His sympathy and his professionalism make him a driving force among the Scout team.
Specialties: experience on the local Chinese market, negotiation skills, good contact, languages (French, English, Chinese and German).
