The Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, or UCCA, is a pionneering institution located in the 798 Art district in Beijing, and has been founded by Guy and Myriam Ullens in 2007. The place is famous worldwide for its exhibitions, it is a great place to discover contemporary Chinese artists. It is one of the most prestigious galleries of the 798 art district in Beijing and has created an amazing network of artists related to China.
This year, the center has lauched new activities for kids inside its special educational programs for children and families.
The program is designed for children aged 2-11, and has daily activities around three main components : regular classes, creative workshops and discovery workshops.

The goal of the activities is to teach the children about art and to behave creatively in the way they solve problems.
Art classes : weekly classes for children aged 2-11, with learning in the arts, art practice, creative thinking.
Workshops : held during the weekends, the children will develop their talents in the company of Chinese and Foreign artists.
The is as well a discovery area where parents can drop in at any moment, with art discovery kits that can be brought back home. Family programs include special programs in which parents and kids can participate together. Customized events can be organized for birthdays, private gatherings.

The studio opening hours are 10 am to 7 pm, from tuesday to sunday, it is closed on mondays.
